Hi, my name is John Jenkinson,
“I am accredited to the national standard in clinical hypnotherapy. This means I practice the latest recognised methods in hypnotherapy, that are endorsed by the relevant government organisations.”
The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) are the UK’s largest and most prominent organisations within the field of Hypnotherapy and together present an exemplary model for the simultaneous protection of the public and the provision of practitioner credibility and services. The GHSC is responsible for overseeing the criteria for the ongoing registration of individual practitioners within the GHR.
The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary therapists including hypnotherapy. It was set up with government support to support the public and give recognition to the complementary health sector. They provide a UK register of practitioners who have met national standards. The register has been searched nearly a quarter of a million times since it opened. The CNHC register is now accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). This means CNHC has met the PSA’s demanding standards. The PSA is the independent government-appointed body that oversees the work of the nine statutory medical, health and care regulators, and is NHS recognised.
This ensures that our hypnotherapy services are administered to the recommended national standard in therapeutic professionalism.
